Online Lab Order is subject to the same Government HIPAA Privacy Laws just like your own personal physician.

We have access to thousands of tests, many we don't post online. If you are seeking a specific test, please contact us. If the test is available, we will respond with your requested test(s).

Tests can NOT be collected in the state of NY, NJ, MA, MD, CA, and RI. You can complete the test in a nearby state.

The laboratory patient service centers consist of a waiting room and several specimen collection rooms. When you arrive at the lab, you will provide the laboratory employee at the front desk with your medical order sent to you by email. If there are other customers waiting, be certain that no one knows which test you are taking except the laboratory staff. The lab collects specimens for hundreds of types of tests at each of their collection centers.

We deal directly and confidentially with you, and email the results to you. You will be able to print out your results and take them to you healthcare practitioner.

Payment can be made by debit or credit card, PayPal, money order or pre-paid gift cards for Visa or American Express.

The charges will appear as "Online Lab order, Inc.".

We do accept insurance , and do not bill insurance directly. We are able to provide a detailed receipt if you wish to submit for reimbursement yourself.

Direct access testing allows you greater participation in your own healthcare. Your healthcare provider can refer you to Online Lab Order, but it’s not a requirement. You can order any test without your doctor. You can feel secure that Online Lab Order uses the same labs as healthcare providers and hospitals, which are CLIA-certified and regulated by appropriate governmental agencies.

When checking out, enter the information for the person you are ordering the test for into the Patient section. Your information goes in the Payment section.

Some blood tests do require fasting prior to having your blood drawn; It depends on the type off test ordered (fasting instructions are indicated on each test description). It is recommended that you avoid food for 10-12 hours when testing for glucose, cholesterol, and triglycerides . If fasting is recommended; water is permitted during your fast.

We use the leading national laboratories, which are fully CLIA accredited. Some are the same labs your healthcare provider uses.

Abnormalities should be considered an early warning, but do not necessarily mean you have an illness or disease. We strongly recommend you discuss all abnormal results with a healthcare provider for evaluation, further testing and diagnosis.

Some results may be self-explanatory such as those that are "high" or "low". Many tests also have "functional ranges" which can help identify more subtle changes that could be detrimental to your health. If you would like more information you can contact one of our doctors to help you understand your results.
